    Elixir R question

If I buy Elixir brakes do i also have to buy the bleed kit too or do the brakes come filled with brake fluid. Getting close to riding weather, I don't want to have to wait until brakes get here to find out I need the kit.

    Thanks

If you buy the Avid set as a unit, they come assembled and bled. They'll come with an IS adapter on rear units and both an IS and post mount for the fork. You choose the rotor size, and it's in the box too.

Even if you buy the complete set, I highly recommend you also buy a bleed kit. You may need this after shortening the hoses and likely still need to bleed the brakes even if new. The factory bleed on my set was horrible but is now perfect after doing it myself.
