    Elixir pad spreader?

Hi there, my rear Elixir brake pad worn out yesterday and as a result, the spring bent..I'd ordered spare brake pads before but it did'nt come with a new spring... so I now need a new spring and in Chainreactioncycles doesn't have it as spare part but they have Hope Moto Caliper Pad Springs very cheap...I was wondering if this is the same spring Elixir's use...anybody?? here is a pic of the Hope Moto spring...

As long as it sits on the metal edges you're good in theory but it likely won't push them out as well and may slip of easily. Here's the elixir ones for $5.10 (cheapest I saw most of the other online bigs were at $6.99)

    Elixir Pad Springs for $5.10
