    Elixir CR or Juicy Ultimate

I've been researching and reading and researching more and I keep flip-flopping between the two. I like the Elixir's because it's the latest and greatest. I like the Ultimate because it's the best of the old 'tried and true'.

Please vote and I'll make my decision based on that. Thank you, feedback is also appreciated.

I have both and at this point I like the ultimates better as they are quite a bit lighter and i can adjust the lever out further. In the cr's favor the adjustments don't require tools and the pads can be removed easier. I find the feel and power of both to be fine , I always use semi-metallic pads.

    I have both as well.

With stock pads and same size rotors on both pairs I find that the juicys have more bite.

They're both noisy at random times.

From day one I've had problems with the pistons on the ultimates not retracting, resulting in annoying rubbing. Seems like every 5 rides I have to take the pistons out, clean them and re-bleed. Haven't had this problem at all with the elixirs.

The top side pad removal is a big selling point for the elixirs. I hate removing calipers, I always drop at least 1 cps washer that manages to roll to the hardest to reach spot in the garage.
