    Elixir 5 Hoses

My stock hoses on my elixir 5s are terribly long. Can i trim the hoses without having to bleed them again?

Edit: I have tried to research this and have not gotten a clear answer for elixirs.

The times I have done it with Avid, I have always had to rebleed. Try it, see how the feel and go from there.

Sure, you can. Should you? No.

You will introduce air to the line, no matter how hard you try not to.
