    DT Swiss center lock tool?

    what tool do you use to tighten these up with? Is it a cassette tool or is it something fancy and only used for DT stuff.

    You are right.. a cassette tool is all you need...

    Though it is the cassette tool that fits the splines of this adapter (I have 2 of them), you need something deeper than the basic Park lockring tool, as the rear axle in your hub will prevent the tool from reaching the splines correctly to tighten the ring. I took it to the LBS the 1st time, and asked them to snug it up. The next time I bought a lockring tool with more depth/reach.

    Similar thing happened to me...in the end I bought the Shimano one for about the same price as those from park
