Forgive the double post (also in 650B/69er forum), but anyone have thoughts on a DIY linear/V-brake adapter so you can run larger rims/tires on a 26er sized frame/fork? Mavic makes a decent one but it cuts into your tire width and creates clearance issues if you want to run anything over 25mm. The only other options I can think of are a 29er specific fork, disc brakes, or Paul's motolites (for more clams than I wish to spend).
