You are right! Just out of curiosity though, why is there so much slack in your cables?

hehehe....as a Clyde class rider, I'll take discs. More power, more consistently (no rain, mud or snow effects).

Set up right, there's no more drag than rim brakes...my rotors are true and I don't get contact unless I'm braking. Sure, there is a little more maintenance with discs, but at least you're not going to have a traumatic rim failure if you wear out your braking surface.

If he got a pair of "The Ones" then he didn't have enough money for a bleed kit to shorten the hose.

For someone who's named "Jeff" and has PMS, I'd assume you'd be used to insults now.

Disk suck for trials. They dont have enough bite to handle trials. We still run Vees or Magura HS-33.

We also take a angle grinder to the sidewall of the rear, grind the piss out of it. Buy special brake pads and use roofing tar on the wall for extra bite.

    Pads| woooooooooo

Of course you do realize the bike in your vid has discs.... look at 1:04.. and seems to handle whatever the hell it's doing fine. Please lay off the straws, those kittens would appreciate it.

I think what litercola is not mentioning is sometimes frame failures are more likely on the rear tris of disc-equipped trials frames.

I'm not a trials guy, but I've seen this a lot of times. I don't know if they've taken care of the frames to accomodate discs at this time.
