Can you post a pic of your rear disc brake hose from the front of the bike? I just want to get some idea on what is the shortest hose length I can run without having any problem. Do I need to allow longer hose length if I have rear suspension? I know for the gears the answer is yes but for brakes is it ok to have shorter hose length? Hydraulic disc only please. Any rule of thumb? Thanks for the pics and answers.

Install your brake levers and just hold the hose to the end of the fitting and turn your bars both ways to ensure that it does not snag. You can attach the hose to your caliper first if it is easier. Mount the caliper and with the spring/air removed, move your rear suspension through its full motion.
