    Disc brake mounting adapters

I am building a new dh/fr bike from scratch after my old machine finally threw in the towel, and this is the first time I will have disc brakes, been running the same ancient Avid SD20 V brakes for years now.

Unfortunately I have no idea how the various different types of mount and adapter come into play.
I intend to fit Hope Tech M4s on to a pair of Rockshox Totem Coils and a Cove STD frame. The calipers appear to fit a post style mount, which is what the forks have, but the information on the forks states that the minimum compatible rotor size is 203mm.

Will I need an adapter for this or will the caliper mount directly to the fork and accept a 203mm rotor?

I'm pretty sure I'm clear on the frame, I'd guess I'll need an IS to post mount adapter for the specific rotor size I intend to use?

I believe the Totem is 203 minimum, so it will bolt right up. This model Hope has a 203 rotor available, so you'll need to order the front brakeset with that rotor size.
