    Disc brake mount

    My wifes friend has this mtb and wants disc brakes can I mount disc to it with some kind of adapter here is pic thanks.

    In a word....

    no. Those are not disc mount tabs. Those are the standard mounting holes for a rack and/or fenders. The frame is not set up for disc brakes, at least not in the rear. The hub appears to be compatable, but unfortunately the frame is not.

    He was asking if there is an adapter that would allow him to run discs, in which case the answer is yes, and someone should make a sticky.

    Look into A2Z disc brake adapters, they are the cheapest that I can find. Another is Brake Works but they run like 100 or so.
