    Direct mount chainstay adapter?

Ok, here goes. I've got a '99 Schwinn Moab with the *rabidly sucessful* Hayes direct mount on the chainstay. I was wondering if anyone made an adapter to fit the I.S. standard(or Manitou's post mount).

You are looking for one of these:

But you should check to see if there is room for the adapter & calipers between your chain & seat stay. Have not seen anything for R22 - 74mm post mount.

    Cheers,

    Tom

There usually is not room inside the rear triangle for the adapter and the caliper. The adapters work on some FS swingarms.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common
