difference between Formula Evo rotors and B4 rotors?
Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the two rotors, besides the obvious, the Evo rotors are 2 pieces. Is the pad to rotor surface the same size? Can you use the B4 rotors with an Evo caliper?
different thickness, different rotor surface, different, different
Formula in Italy expressively warned me to steer people away from interchanging Evo rotors with B4 Rotors...
Not all rotors are created equal. Had a fellow on the phone today, which was *****in about noises, crying warranty all over, comes to find out, he had cheap chinese aftermarket rotors and some other brand aftermarket brake pads to boot.
Sure original rotors are expensive and in some case not even available. Same as pads. But in Formula case , they are available even for 10 year old brake sysytems. Not cheap, but available.
The darn price is explainable as well. For older models the manufacturer has to give the brake pad folks smaller orders, and smaller orders relate to higher per piece prices.
