    Deore Disc Squeal

I have a set of Deore 525 Hydraulic discs but use XT rotors. The back rotor squeals like a banshee only when going downhill but otherwise is silent. There is no difference in braking performance, just a loud noise.

The rotor is clean and the pads are new. It's just the back rotor.

Any Ideas about what's causing the noise and what can I do about it?
    Any help appreciated.

Well I've got the same brakes, only with the sm-rt-60 (2002 deore) rotor. I have the same problem with the rear squealing. I'm thinkin its either the design of the caliper or it's my frame or related setup.
