    cutting/ bleeding shimano brakes

appoligies if this has been covered but i really dont want to ruin my new xt's. after i cut my lines i will need to bleed my brakes, i am suspecting i will only have to slightly top off the resivoir. i have some reverb fluid kicking around which i believe is 2.5w suspension fluid. will i be fine using it?

No don't do it. Shimano's use mineral oil. Don't mix it with sus oil!

Don't use any fluid but the Shimano mineral oil.
