I am trying to help out a friend who jut got a set of crossmax's with centerlocks. When you tighten the lock ring down against the rotor it causes drag in the rear wheel. The drag is like it has the the cone nuts tightened down too much. I know it doesn't have cones, but that is the best way I can describe it. Loose it spins free, tight drags. The centerlock lockring has a thin aluminum washer/seal. I can see that the base of the lockring is contacting the outside part of the race that is supposed to spin. I ahve never dealt with these hubs or centerlocks, what is my problem besides ignorance?
