Cleaning pads and rotor (without baking them)...

Is there a way to do it? I accidentally hit mine with a little wd-40 so I need to get it off of them, but putting them in the oven or on the stove and making a bunch of smoke isn't going to be an option. Any help is much appreciated.

I've boiled pads before. They make a sort of crackling noise and a black goo floats to the surface. The pads definitely performed better post-boiling, so I assume it did the trick.
