Chris king hubs with avid rotor

Hey Guys, I have a question about rotors. I have a set of king hubs from 2002 that was on a 26 wheeled bike. I had them relaced to 29er wheels. I had hayes rotors bolted on and I plan on changing them to avids. Anyway, as I was unbolting the rotors, I found 12 spacers, 2 per bolt under the rotor. Do I need to use these washers/spacers or were they there to adjust for a misaligned caliper? Thanks.

Im no brake expert but I would remove the washers and hook everything up. If everything lines up then great. If its not alignable by your standard caliper adj, then consider using the washers.

Usually you use spacers on the caliper to fine tune, not on the hub. I'd leave the spacers out of the rotor install. But, like Sheep, I'm no expert. Just some schmo on the interwebs... Take with a grain of salt.
