    Car brake fluid?

    I assume DOT 4 and 5.1 mountian bike specific and car brake fluid are the same?

    Get as small of a bottle as possible. Since brake fluid is hygroscopic, once the container is opened up, moisture gets into the brake fluid. And if its not used quickly enough, the brake fluid goes bad.

    Or you do what I do, and use what you need, then put it in smaller containers so there's as little air at the top as possible. I usually have smaller metal or clean glass bottles for this purpose.
