Can I.S. style disc brakes be adapted to fit 74mm post mount disc brake fork?

Just wondering if you can adapt IS mount disc brakes to a 74mm post mount disc brake fork? thanks

Are you sure your brakes are IS only? Many are actually post mount that need an adapter to run on IS mounts....what brakes do you have?

yes there is an IS to PM adapter but you'll have to go up one rotor size though

    Bikinfool is correct...

the M486 is a post mount caliper. So unless you are mounting them to an IS mount fork or frame, or using larger than 160mm rotor on a post mount fork you won't need an adapter.
