New question here. Can i do this?

    Hey folks

i just got myself a rockshox totem, and unfortunetly it has a 8" post mount only on the front.
my brakes are the 2003 xt 755 4 piston brakes with braided hose.

what i wanna know is, can i use a shimano xt/xtr caliper from the new generation with the old brakelever and hose? does the banjo fit?

    thanks

yeah.. you should be able to do it without problem... the compatibility issues have to do mostly with the lever connection hardware...at the caliper the fittings are the same

So.. get a PM caliper and you are good to go!

Check the pic of the 765 caliper below
