calling all the old timers on pneumatics

allright, so i'm off to my new shop and i stop by to spend some time visiting with the family. in the attic of my mom's garage where i used to fix up bikes as a kid, i found the remnants of an old brake system off of i think a sears (or possibly JC penny) bike. they were pneumatic calipers and i was in the process of converting them to cantilevers (it was 1993) when my dog thought it was a squeaky toy and chewed them up.

so who remembers these? who made them, what were they on? did they suck? were they serviceable? i'm sure there's someone here who thinks, "oh god, i had forgot about those" but remembers things about them. please share.

    thanks!

well, would that enough recognizable parts had survived the mutt's attack on them. sadly, all that is left are some metal pieces that were modified.
