    Caliper Stuck

The rear calipher is stuck on the rotor. This is during new installation; the cable is not even attached. I've removed the bolts that attached calipher to frame to get a better grip on the inboard knob, but it won't turn at all. Is there some kind of release button? or what? Thanks.**

    **Thanks, got it off.

    What brake caliper is it?
With my Avid BB7 it was a PAIN to turn the inbound knob by hand. There should be a hex or torx bolt(depends on caliper) to turn the thing. Try that.

Yes, BB7 and yes they're a pain to turn! I ended up loosening the outboard knob and it worked. Back to the drawing board.........

At the center of each knob there is a t25 torx head that lets you turn the knobs with a wrench.
