Caliper/Rotor Swap Front To Rear. Won't fit there?

OK, so I had a fork with an IS mounted disk brake and 160mm rotor. I got a new frame/fork. The new fork had a post mount and the frame an IS mount. I planned to just get a new brake for the front and use the IS brake from my old fork as a rear brake. Unfortunately the rotor is too big to be used with that caliper on the rear. If this is common and someone knows what to do, do I just need a smaller rotor and I'm good? If so, what size would I need?

Tektro Novela. Not that good, but since I already have them and it's just in the rear I'd like to use them if I can.

EDIT: Not the ones with the post mount and IS adapter. Mine are a few years+ old and built as IS mount. There's a picture of them in the forth post down of this thread.

You need a 140 mm rotor for the rear and you should be good, but see below:.

Just to clarify; you have a 160 mm rotor and IS caliper from an IS fork that you want to use on the frame as a rear brake right?

That's what I thought I needed, but couldn't seem to find that info stated anywhere. And yes, I'm trying to use the IS caliper from an IS fork on the frame as a rear brake. Thanks for the help.
