    Cableless brakes?

    Other then a coaster brake are there any other types of cableless brakes?

    Cableless brakes?

    There was a old style that used a lever pushing a rod down onto the tire. It's really old tech.

    Whatcha trying to do

    True there was. Let's restate it as viable cableless brakes.

    Im ready for another built and wanted to see my options.

    No, they do NOT have cables. They use fluid in place of cables. They have brake lines but those are tubes, not cables.

    Rod, coaster, fixed gear, hydro... shoe on tyre. That is pretty much it

    You are looking for wireless electric brakes. But watch out with those, you don't want to put in half-empty or bad batteries!
