Bonking ... not feelin' well Broke my brakes. What to do?

I have Avid Juicy 3's. In a crash, one of my brake levers was pulled the wrong way (away from the bike). After seeing it going out almost perpendicular to the handles, i poped it back into place, after doing so thinking, "Oh %&#$ yes, they arent broken!!"

But, now the lever has "wiggle room." There is a good bit of room for the lever to go past where it should normally stop, meaning i have to pull the lever in through this zone of no resistance, no braking, no anything before the lever gets to the point that used to be its rest position.

They still work, but this is very inconvenient and absolutely horrible when trying to brake in a split second. Is there any way to fix this? Has anyone had this problem? If it cant be fixed, should i get some nicer brakes? Go to some BB7's?
