    Which Brakes?

I am looking for a new v-brake setup. I am riding a fairly light hard tail that I recently built up. I curretnly have avid sigle digit 7 Ti brakes. I am not impressed and have noticed that as my pads are wearing the 2.0 phythons are actually rubbing the brake arms. I also have ceramic rims.

Here is where my research has been sending me

Paul motolite - good reviews adjustable but expensive ????

Mrazek moc v - light, still a little expensive, worried about wheel rub on arms ???

koski pro - inexpensive and light, worried about power and durability, look like they would give plenty of tire clearance ???

    cane creek curve 2 - inexpensive ??

Avid arch rival - good power and inexpensive ???

Here are my priorities in that order

    Power
    Price
    weight

you may want to post this question on the save some weight forum as those folks know a ton about v-brakes and it gets a lot more traffic for these types of questions.

    cheers

Ive been running Avid Ulitimates with some Paul love levers and love em. Not sure about the tire rub situation. What frame do you have....different frames can have seat stays (s-type) that position the brake stud closer to the rim which can reduce the space you have between the tire and brake arm. Most avids Ive seen compensate for this with an arched brake arm which give enough clearance (my pads are very worn and still have plenty of clearance??)
