    Brake upgrade...

My 2004 Trek 4300 is in need of new brakes. Bike is stock. Just wondering would it be easy to convert to disk? What price range would you think? If so what are your suggestions for parts and what needs to be done?
Are my stock rims compatible? I'm looking for winter project.

I am too lazy to use google right now....

However, you will possibly need to wheels, if the hubs are not disc compatible.
Does the frame have disc mounts?
Does the fork have disc mounts?
