    Brake Pads...

Sorry if this comes across as a newbie question. However, I have a 2011 Giant Talon1 29er.
I need to replace the brake pads. Which ones and what brand do i buy? Thanks!

    Hi,

Just tell us what brake caliper you have first

ie : Avid BB7, Magura Marta, Avid Elixir, Hayes Ryde, etc...

Giant's website says the brakes are "Giant ROOT, Hydraulic". Go to your Giant dealer.

Or check eBay for "alligator" or "gator" pads... Disco pads too. Cheap and work good from what I've heard.

Or go to your dealer. They will hook you up and the lbs might give you a price on other brand brake pads.
