Brake lever squeezed with wheel not installed = Reset pistons? oops

Brake lever got squeezed accidentally without front wheel installed durring transport. Do I need to reset the pistons now? How is that done & with what tool? I'm super novice with hydraulic disks and don't want to pull anything apart. Seems like it should be easy / common fix.
