    Brake adapters??

Please help, I have XTR and Magura Luise IS mount disc front brakes and will mount it to post mount fork. Are there any adapters out there to be used on my current 160mm rotor?thanks!

There is no adapter that will let you put an IS caliper on a PM fork without going up a rotor size.

Joules, so what adapter do you recommend and what rotor size? I'm aiming for 170mm rotor though, is it possible?

There is one but it doesn't work with all IS mount brakes.

Apart from some IS calipers not being physically able to fit between the post mounts when fitted to this adapter there are some forks that this adapter won't fit onto as well. The placement of the dropout, the size of the fork lowers and the length of the post mounts can also be things that come into play whether this adapter will work or not.

Just get the proper adapter Buy MAGURA #3 from the official MAGURADirect Online Shop and slap on a 180mm rotor. Best to fit in with the standards.
