    bled my Shimano XTR BR-M985 with 5 weight fork oil (moto)

    should I be ascared?

    Go to napa auto and get pentosin chf 7.1. Its about 15 bucks and come in a liter container. It is a great shimano mineral oil alternative.

    cool I'll go check it out.

    I needed a bleed and all I had was this fork oil, it's mineral oil so I figured it would work.

    So far, no issues.

    I guess heat might be a problem but I'm not sure.

    I think I'll run it a bit longer and see how it goes.
