    Best Bleed Kit?

I need to bleed my Hayes brakes and I have been reading about how crappy most of the bleed kits are - can anyone suggest a kit that will work well?

Bleed tools are up to the individual, many like the syringe some like the squeeze bottle, advantage of the squeeze bottle is a smooth steady flow of fluid, syringes can inject too quickly if not used properly. You will need the bleed fitting if you are going to build your own.

Your local pet store that sells fish should have air pump hose which is DOT proof and comes in 2 sizes. I use the larger diameter as the mail hose and the smaller diameter for a snug fit on the caliper nipple, Hayes suggest using a compression fitting over the hose to nipple. Any super market will have syringes in the cook ware section for meat injection. Next you will need a catch tank, I use a old DOT plastic bottle and safety wired a leash to wrap around the bar for the master cylinder bleed hose to go into.
