    Bent rotors.

Went for a ride yesterday that was really rocky. I fell a few times and bent my avid rotors up pretty good. What's the best way to straighten them? I hand bent them to get me home but they are still bent. Any ideas on how to keep them from getting bent?

Adjustable wrench + trial&error until they are true. Using a vise helps a lot.

I wouldn't expect a perfect finish, but if you managed to get home they are probably not as bad as yo say

They rub a little bit. I just like everything perfect!

    Tech Tuesday rotor truing

Just use your fingers. No need to over leverage it.

Thanks, this helped me as well. My rear rotor was slightly out of true & this method helped me! No need to remove the rotor & put it in a vise.
