    bent lever

So I nailed a tree the other day, and bent the end of my lever. Is it possible to bend it back by heating it up? Or is it garb now?

What kind of brake? and what is the lever made out of?
If it is alluminum and there are stress fractures, you may want to replace it.
Most levers are either designed to break or bend in the event of a crash. the ones that bend can usually be bent back.

    not sure

It's a juicy leve, looks like its either alum, or some kinda alloy. Do you think its necessary to heat it up to make it more plyable? There are no stress factures on it. If it breaks it breaks, I've already written it off in my head. However if it works saweet.

Just bent mine back last week. Take the lever off the brake lever, put in vise and bend back slowly

I bent some Juicy levers in the past too and I just pulled the lever off, put a cheater pipe on the end and bent it back to it's psuedo-normal spot. YMMV.

    Thats one helluva a bend!!!!!
I'd give it a go, but if Pipes will send you one that would be super cool!
Either way, take the lever off before you try to bend it back. No need to heat it up.
