    BB7's what size?

I am thinking about upgrading my brakes. I have a 05 Jamis Komodo 1.0. all stock. Should I go with bigger rotors 185 mm , 205 mm or should I just stick with the 160 mm. I do mostly trails with some jumps. bigger better?

As anything it depends on a lot of things. How heavy are you?
How much down hill do you do?

As for me I'm a big guy (300#)
I run BB'7's front and rear. With 8" rotor in front and 7" rotor in rear.
    Works good for me.

Is your set up working good for you as is? Or are you having trouble slowing down at the bottom of the hill?

I was using 6" rotors F & R and I could not slow down on long steep down hills.
    Kinda scary!
Not scary any more with the bigger rotors.
    next time

Don't exceed your frame and fork manufactures recommended size for rotors. You could damage your bike and yourself.
