    BB7 replacement pads?

Looking for recommendations for aftermarket replacement pads for my BB7s. I've been looking around a bit, and I've seen Kool-stops, Alligators, Jagwires. What do you like?

I'd kinda like to tag onto this thread if ya don't mind
I haven't really felt the 'need' to change my stock (sintered)BB7 pads - they seem to work just great... But I'm curious as to what I might be missing.
    Honestly... ahh I give up

My recommendation are Kool Stop sintered pads, very good performance and
they last longer than the standard organic pads

Avid sintered pads are excellent replacements. Next would be EBC Golds (also sintered).

Personally, I have not tried any others.

I mainly use the sintered Avid pads, am very happy with them and they're easily found, but if Galfers were more readily available...

I bought the sintered pads from www.torontocycles.com when I upgraded my rotors to Alligator Windcutters. Great combination and the pads work very well.

I use Galfer pads (red, never seen the green some mention) and the EBC Gold before that. Both much better than the Avid branded pads. The Avid pads have been very inconsistent quality and have terrible wear rates in the wet.

The Galfer wears well and modulates better.
EBC also wears well and has more raw power than the Galfer but can be grabby.
Both are usually cheaper than Avid brand, too.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common
