    BB5 vs BB7

What are the differences between Avid's BB5 and BB7 mech disc brakes? Looking for a quality comparison to each other.
    Thanks In Advance.

The BB7's have a larger pad (same as Juicy pad), two piece cold forged body, and both inboard and outboard pad adjustment.

The BB5's use smaller pads, a melt forged body, and only an inboard pad adjustment.

Basically, the BB7's are more adjustable and more powerful

The question was what is the difference (subtraction, not division).

I just upgraded from tektro i/o to BB7 and the difference is unreal. The rear BB7 is almost too powerful
