    AVID X0/HS1 pads

I need some new pads for my 2013 X0's with the HS1 rotor. The X0 specification page lists organic pad with the aluminum back. I assume this is just the stock pads, but for some reason I thought I'd read to only use the organic pads with these brakes and rotors. I can't find where I read that though. Can anybody give guidance on whether I have to use the organic pads or can I use metallic?

Avid stuff is garbage and expensive. Checkout Serfas pads for avid elixir, quiet, cheap and pretty good performance.
