    Avid SD7 on 95 hardrock?

Will the avid sd7 brakes work on my 95 hardrock?

From what I have read they are decent and pretty affordable at that.

I don't have a ton of cash so...

    Does your 95 HR have....

cantilever brakes or V brakes? If you have cantilevers currently you'll need to purchase new brake levers as well. Canti brake levers don't work well with v brakes. The only other thing you have to be aware of is that cantilever brakes require that the cables pass through a cable hanger on the front and rear. When you set up v brakes you'll have to by pass the hanger as it's not required for v brakes. Other than that they'll work fine.

I am going to v-brakes, and did find that I needed new levers. So as long as I get new levers I am good when changing from cantilever?
