    Avid SD TI levers clicking

    Hi all,

I recently installed some Avid Speed Dial Ti levers and I'm having a little problem of them clicking once when pulled.

It seems to be coming from the little pivot point that you can see through the little cutouts. When tension is put on the lever, that pivot clicks a bit and slides towards the cable.

This happens on both levers. Is this normal? Will it "break-in"?

    Thanks

Are you sure it isn't the cable twisting?

It took me forever to find out where my clicking came from. Turns out the cable was twisting inside its housing, causing the circular-cable-end-block-thingy to knock against its holder.

If that is your problem, unbolt the cable at the brake and give it a little twist in the right direction, then rebolt.

    good luck
