Avid pads with the least squaking
What are the best avid break pads for reducing, avoiding or minimizing break squealing and turkey goggle/warble? I have Avid XO breaks.
I know that to fix this issue you must first clean and sand the rotors and pads and go through the re-bedding process. This has worked for me but the issue keeps reocurring despite of my efforts of being very careful to avoid getting oil or any other contaminants on the breaking system.
The Serfas pads that I bought from Jenson have been very quiet. They wear quicker, but they're decent as far as semi metallic pads go. I ride aggressive XC trail, I'm about 230lbs fully geared.
Ebc green quieted down a set of bb7's I put on my wifes bike.
The more you ride, the easier it gets........
