    Avid Mech. disc question

I have tightened evrything I could think of including the rotor bolts but I still have this high pitched ringing sound like the (front) disc is loose. Anyone have any ideas?

Your rotor could be warped/bent in some areas so that it rubs slightly and chimes periodically. The disc FAQ has tips on truing disc rotors. After truing the rotor, I would recenter the caliper for good measure. Also make sure your QRs are as tight as you can clamp them down.
