    Avid Juicy Carbon

    Hi,
Been using these brakes for about two months now, and it seems they are already worn down.
So, any of you guys have experiences with some durable brake pads? I can live with a decreased brake power, if only I can avoid to change pads every two months...

(I'm not sure which pads I use now)

By the way, what's the difference between sintered and organic? And do I need to be aware of anything else when buying pads?

    Thank

EBC Red pads once broken in give you really good performance, especially if you race. Sintered metallic pads are very abrasive and have to be broken in, but last a while and provide good braking. Organic are a bit softer, greater more brake dust, but put all the wear on the pad and tend to be very quiet. These were probably your stock pads.
