I am going to upgrade my bike to disc brakes. For a while now, I have been set on the Juicy brakes. However, I am able to purchase the dual control XT levers (integrated braking and shifting) as well as the brake calipers and rotors for around $300+shipping. The Juicys would run around $310 total + shipping. Is there that huge of a difference between the XT brakes and the Avids? I currently have Deore shifters and XT rear der. that came with the bike, so I couldn't possibly hurt to upgrade the shifters. My other concern is do the 765 pods require a rapid rise rear der?
What do you think I should do in this case?
