    avid elixur pad question

I have a set of Avid Elixur CR, and its time for some new pads. Which is the perferred pad, the sintered or the organic pad. I have the G3 cleansweep rotors and i need a little clarification. Thanks in advance

Always stick with metal sintered. Never go organic unless you're going some easy XC with just little downhill.

Organic pads will be gone after a few wet rides. I tried a pair of organic back in February. It's all used up down to the metal backing plate in less than two months.

Sintered is the way to go.I've trashed an organic set in less than 15 miles in the wet and gritty UK.
