    Avid discs with a Rollamajig???

I have used Avid discs in the past. I really liked the power, but the rear brake seemed vague with no modulation. Has anyone tried using a Rollamajig with the Avid dics? Any tips on getting the smoothest feel out of the system? I'll be using them with Avid SD 7 levers and maybe the Avid Straight Jacket cable systems, with full length housing.

I don't really see why you'd need a rollamajig for the mechs. there's no 180 turn in the cable like there is when on the rear derailleur.

I dunno, man -- I've heard of guys running 'em on their V's, and it is only your rear brake, so it might be worth experimenting, but plastic construction -- I dunno, man...

There's no sense in using a Rollamajig unless, like other said, you've got a really steep bend in cable (ie, 180*). It doesn't 'smooth things out'--that wasn't its purpose for derailleurs, either.
