    Avid CR SL (Surging feeling)

This question has probably already been asked, but does anyone have any tips to fixing the surging/grabbing feeling I'am experiencing while braking hard with these Avid CR SL's?
Brand new on a Expert 29er with less than 200 miles on pads....

Did you check to make sure your rotots are dead true?
I have a set of elixirs, and when they were brand new they had a kind of pulsating/surging feeling.
The rotors were not rubbing the pads, and seemed fairly true at the time.
I took some time to true them up properly and the feeling went away.
    Worth a look.
Use a bright light on a light colored background....sight through the caliper from the top, and spin the wheel. Look for rotor deflection in either direction.
    Straighten as needed.
Look, whatever happens, don't fight the mountain.
