    avid code brake pads

both the metal and organic brake pads for avid codes glaze too easily for me because i run on brake heavy tracks
my brakes never really fade but my brake pads glaze like every 3 runs or so

so my question is...are there any alternative brake pads that are better for avid code? thx

Does EBC make the red pads for Codes? I've used those pads, and they are ideal for big brakes and heavy DH use. They don't have a long life, but they work like mad and don't glaze.

I think you'll notice a real stepup in braking performance for the application you're looking for.
