Avid Braided cable covers??
Somewhere on this site (not sure if this forum) I saw someone build a tire with avíd mechs and the cable covers looked like some kind of stainless steel braided hose (not the Flak Jacket which look like carbon fiber).
Anyone knows where can I find this item?? Does it work??? At least it looks sweeet...
Thanks!!

Yes, it works fine, AND you can get a good deal on the housing/cables right now. You're talking about Rattler Mac cablesets from Pricepoint.

Kooool!
I'll be ordering some.
Pricepoint Info is not that clear though. Is this package for both brakes and does it includes all mounting hardware (my frame has routing for both brake systems - cable/hydro - so that's no problem) like ferrules and stuff??
Thanks again... this will make my bike look cooler.

Yeah, that set is enough for your whole bike, includes cables, ferrules, etc... it also fits right into the FMJ ferrules if you want to do that...

Everything included
I ordered that kit from Pricepoint a year ago. It is a very nice set, ferrules and cable endings included.

Thanks Dudes!!
Thanks for your feedback.
I'll be ordering a set soon but I'll look for another source as pricepoint only delivers to mexico via DHL and that's $45 bucks for a cable set of $20??. I hope Airbomb to have some, they ship to mexico via USPS.
Thanks again folks!
