Hey all- I have a SS setup with Horizontal Drops to get the rear wheel on and off I have to loosen the caliper (Which is not really a big deal- just an extra step). I had a thought this afternoon- if I switch my rear rotor from a Clean Sweep Rotor to a "Wavy" rotor I could probably get the rear wheel on and off without having to loosen the caliper and since I use tensioners for both sides of the hub the wheel should fit exactly in the same place.
Any foreseeable problems, or reasons this would not work? I assume I need a 160mm wavy to replace the 160mm clean sweep. Is it necessary to replace the pads? Any real signifigant performance issues that would steer any of you away from the wavy rotors to stick with the clean sweep?
